There are other twice-weekly pop culture newsletters that will not continue talking about the Lady Gaga-Bradley Cooper cinematic masterpiece A Star Is Born three years after release. But by the grace of God and Barbra Streisand — or God-via-his holy vessel Barbra Streisand — this is not one of those newsletters. I guessed at her feelings about the movie — she showed up to the Oscars just to praise its Best Picture competition! — but Ms. Streisand confirmed it this week, saying: “I don’t care for G̶o̶b̶ A Star is Born (2018, dir. Bradley Cooper).”
