I started watching The White Lotus this week, and I’m enjoying it! It’s good on how a certain kind of rich white person needs to be mothered and fathered and babied — the person who whines about not getting the room he wants, and the person who frets about losing her identity as a blogger or whatever, are not that different. The dynamic between Natasha Rothwell and Jennifer Coolidge is especially great,  the way you can sense this “friendship” going poorly from the start.

The title of tonight’s email is “Connie Britton saying ‘That Was A Hatchet Job’ because I love that line and I’m in the mood to talk about a hatchet job — specifically Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain.
