The pande replay has obviously disrupted the usual award season practices of special screenings, glitzy parties, big premieres, and expensive campaigns. The Washington Post had a piece this week about the absence of any kind of hive mind this year: “The lack of in-person gatherings also means an absence of feedback, experts say.
