I THINK Felicity was trying to say "as a white woman, I shouldn't be complaining that I was handcuffed because things like this happen everyday, sometimes to Black people" BUT it sounded like "Black people know what this experience is like".
Also, she makes herself sound like Fancy's mother: "here's your one chance Fancy, don't let me down" but instead of prostitutiing her daughter she is scamming to get her daughter into a better college. She's a famous actress! Married to a famous actor! A theater school will take her daughter for the PR!
I fully expect Nelson Franklin to win the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series for his breakout role in "Congress Conman: The George Santos Story" when it inevitably comes out.
