My takeaways from this: I cannot shame people who watched riverdale until the end when I watch morning show; and not only did they pitch weird Barbie telling stereotypical Barbie that she needs to go to the real world so she doesn’t get cellulite, all the Barbies making a sign saying “Bon voyage” before that exact verbiage. Feminism this, feminism that. This movie is FUNNY
I thought Barbie was cute enough, enjoyable in a theatre but I haven’t felt the desire to watch again at home.
I don’t think anyone’s acting was bad, but I don’t think any of them deserved to be nominated for Oscars because of their performances in Barbie. Especially over other possibilities this year that were ignored. Idk!

My main takeaway from the Robbie discussion is it’s people talking who never talk Oscars/award season and that explains a lot. The rest of us have been watching the press and if she was even campaigning for Best Actress why was she just discussing set design/casting/clothing? I haven’t heard her say “my process...” once! Thats classic Artful Actor Lingo!
