It’s funny I actually find summer a stressful time. It’s like frantically trying to wrangle your friends to do something but they’re all over the world or on another coast and you’re trying to make something happen for yourself, all the while sweating and getting eaten by mosquitoes and struggling with body love. Fall just feels like a deep breath, you can finally rope your friends together and hear about their summers, plan cozy getaways, and get excited for the prestige films to drop. Also I KNOW I get an attitude when I can wear a big, long coat with shoes that clomp.
My hatred for the end of summer is exactly why I've made it a tradition to go on an extended solo vaca on Labor Day weekend. I'm not giving up that summer R&R just yet.
