Hunter is 100% accurate this is the Olivia Wilde biopic, but also the book Idea of You is supposed to be inspired by Harry Styles at 17 dating Caroline Flack who was in her 30s. Also of note, the book is actually pretty interesting, the female main character is VERY hot but also very much a divorced MOM (not "Mother") in her 40s, in a way that the trailer and Anne Hathaway don't seem to care about.
I feel like Nicholas Galitzine is becoming the new Nicholas Hoult in that he is simply all over the place but also kind of forgettable (I say this with love for Hoult and for the movie Bottoms).
I read and loved The Idea of You back in 2017 when it was first published and, in my mind, I pictured Harry Styles as the romantic lead. It only solidified my opinion when Harry released Watermelon Sugar (there is a specific scene in the book where some watermelon sugaring happened). ;) I had no idea this book was being turned into a movie until I saw the trailer last week. I can't wait to watch this movie!
The Idea of You audiobook is one you pray doesn’t disconnect from your AirPods in public. It is HORNY. Anne Hathaway is as sexual as a generic brand granola bar.
I think Nicholas Galitzine is fabulous and v watchable. He’s been in a few duds but had glorious chemistry with Taylor Zakhar Perez in Red, White & Royal Blue and I’m looking forward to watching him in Mary & George with Julianne Moore.
